Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund
If your municipality received funding from the American Rescue Plan Act’s Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (“Recovery Fund”), then it is your obligation to meet the compliance and reporting responsibilities. If these are not met then the recipient may be required to make restitution as New York State will be required to perform subsequent monitoring over all the funds you receive. Lost Revenue Calculation – Recipients of the Recovery Fund are allowed to compute the reduction in revenue by comparing actual revenue to a counterfactual trend of revenue that would have been expected had the pandemic not occurred.
